Keyword Research Services - Can They Save You Time And Money?
If you aren’t a guru then you may (like me) find keyword research difficult. I can find keywords all day long. I have a problem finding good ones.
When I used Google’s keyword tool I trusted the results 100%. Why wouldn’t I? Big company like that shouldn’t be giving false figures. Well, it turns out the figures aren’t always right.
The results you see are not always correct, far from it. It would have been correct at some point though. I accidentally discovered the answer to that puzzle.
I homed in on a key phrase with roughly 5000 competing websites. I was feeling confident enough to rank well with this one. So I set out putting articles out. Lots of articles.
Soon after I noticed Google telling me there was about 9000 competing pages now. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I started to think thinks weren’t going to be easy as I thought. As it happens most of these extra results were my articles on these different sites.
My point being is that I’d have swerved this keyword if I had seen nine thousand competitors. Turns out I was competing mostly against myself as my article was the cause of these sites ranking. Not a bad situation to be in if you ask me.
I got lucky on that keyword but I suspected I may not get lucky again so I made the decision to try out a keyword research service. I liked the idea of good keywords being delivered to me every day. I calculated the cost of these services and concluded that they were value for money.
I chose to give Travis Sago’s Instacash keyword research service a go. Travis being at the top of the bum marketing pile. Bum marketing is something I really like.
If I can get a keyword or two in my in box each day then that saves me valuable time. At least a two hour saving. Two hours or so to me is quite valuable. If I contrast a couple hours of my time against the cost each day it has to be value.
Outsourcing, outsourcing, outsourcing. Seems to be all you hear from the gurus of internet marketing. I see this as nothing more than that. I’m giving my keyword research to someone else to do. That’s outsourcing.
If you want to hear about my trial of the Instacash service get yourself over to my website. I mentioned earlier about getting thousands of articles published for a good keyword. I’ll also tell you how I did that at my site.
